Lee Bigelow Davis serves on the Board of Women in Film and Television in Florida. Lee spent her formative years in the suburbs of Philadelphia. At Temple University her internship advisor recommended “a little public affairs show” broadcasting out of NPR affiliate WUHY-FM. After three years at a CBS affiliate in central PA where she wrote ad copy and produced a public affairs program, Lee pivoted to freelance film production. Meeting the script supervisor on an ABC After School Special was a game changer. She immediately began training and not long after cutting her teeth on local indie films and TV commercials she joined the industry labor union IATSE/Local 161. Since 1994 her resume reflects mostly one hour scripted drama series for broadcast/cable networks and streaming services including “Homicide: Life on the Street”, “Ugly Betty”, “Blue Bloods”, “House of Cards”, “The Code” and “The Right Stuff.” Lee is a member of the WIFT Writers Group as well as the Florida Writers Association in which whose newsletter she has been published.
