Dr. Arline Woodbury is the Orlando International Film Festival Lions Club  Ambassador, Board Member and Head Jurist.

Dr. Arline is a health professional.  Psychiatry is her specialty.  She  reflects the fact that as the first child of a mother who became a social worker in New York City, and a father who became a medical doctor specializing in internal medicine and nuclear  medicine. Working as a psychiatrist, both as a clinician, a researcher, and as an administrator in mostly urban settings, exposed her to the financial, social, and political aspects of health care. Her work in neurology increased her interest in the potential for wellness from stem cell research. Immediately upon completing her residency training, She returned home to work in community clinics that were assigned to her as part of her paying back a scholarship she received for her   medical school education through the United States Public Health Service.

Her passion for films and their stories is actually an extension of the passion to help people as they share confidential life stories.  Dr. Arline Woodbury is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,  Inc.  as was her mother.
